Nestled in the rolling hills of western Monroe County, lies a beacon of hope; a hope to alleviate hunger, a hope to educate families about healthier eating habits, and a hope to build a long-term sustainable solution that will provide low-income families with access to nutritional foods.
Our mission
The Garden's 3-Tiered Approach
To provide high quality vegetables and eggs for Monroe County food bank facilities.
To provide programs and services that add to the quality of life for residents of Monroe County.
To enhance the awareness and importance of using vegetables for health, through special events and educational programs.
Get Involved
Our volunteers are essential to the success of The Garden, and we'd love for you to get involved. We accept volunteers regardless of skill level, and we'll teach you all the skills you need to know. We welcome schools and scouting programs, as well.
Donations are also vital to our growth. We are committed to being trustworthy in how we use the resources that enable us to continue working.
